Katrin Huber – President

She has a degree in engineering and a master’s in business and started teaching at Salisbury University in 2013, worked at the Art League of Ocean City for 10 years as the Director of Education.
In this position she scheduled around 600 classes each year for all age groups. During that time, she learned how impactful creating art can be especially for individuals dealing with mental health challenges.
She is trained in Youth First Aid Mental Health and Certified Instructor for QPR training (suicide prevention program).
She is working in schools offering different classes.
Tiffany Barry – Vice President

Tiffany is a LCSW-C, nature-informed therapist and has worked since 2018 in private practice with children and adolescents at Mosaic Counseling and Wellness.
She co-founded the Eco-Therapy Adventure Camp in 2021, which has since grown and become a well-supported and loved program in our community.
Tiffany is a certified QPR trainer in addition to a certified Nature Informed Therapist.
Tiffany and Katrin have taught QPR training to professionals at Tidal Health, Peninsula Orthopedic Associates, and staff at various local schools.
Aaron Dahms – Treasurer

Aaron has chosen to serve as a board member at Kind Minds United, because he is deeply committed to supporting mental health initiatives and suicide prevention, inspired by his own personal experience. Having lost a family member to suicide, Aaron understands firsthand the profound impact such tragedies have on individuals and families. His loss has motivated him to channel his grief into positive action, helping to create awareness, reduce stigma, and provide support to others who may be struggling. Through his involvement with Kind Minds United, Aaron aims to contribute to a supportive school environment where students can access mental health resources, feel understood, and find hope. His personal journey fuels his dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, fostering a future where mental health is prioritized and suicide is preventable.
Jayme Mahoney – Secretary

She is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and completed her master’s degree in counseling psychology with a specialization in Holistic Studies. She has worked in the field for over 20 years.
Through extensive additional training she earned certificates in sub-specialties including ADHD and learning disabilities, mindfulness and complex trauma therapy interventions.
Currently, Jayme is in private practice where she serves adults, couples, families, children and teens. Jayme is also the co-founder of the Eco-Therapy camp.
